After [l=Warner Music International] acquired several country-specific record labels in the late 1980s and early 1990s, like [l=Continental (3)], which was previously owned by [l=Gravações Elétricas S.A.], this is the new name after its acquisition. [l=Warner Music Brasil Ltda.] began operating the Continental brand through its EastWest label in 1995-96. However, catalogs of music from labels such as [l=Gravasom], [l=Musicolor (3)] and [l=Phonodisc] are not a part of Warner Music Brasil.
