Label founded by [a=P.C.R.] in 1987 as an outlet for their projects but soon solely run by [a=Peter Schuster] and ongoing until ca. 2008. The first 52 releases appeared on cassette under the name [b]Prion Tapes[/b]. When the label started releasing on CDr in 1999 and later some vinyl to it's name was shortened to just [b]Prion[/b] or appeared as [b]Prionmusic[/b]. Dedicated to experimental, mainly electronic music.
