Deuce Magazine

Profile

UK Based 'Urban Music Magazine' that focused primarily on UK Garage, R&B and the the developing Garage sub-genres of Grime & Dubstep. Every issue featured a free DJ mix CD. The magazine shared publishers with Drum & Bass magazine Knowledge, and issues were on sale from November 2001 to January 2004 when the magazine folded. CDs initially had the catalogue number JUZ, but from issue 12 onwards the visual design of the parent magazine changed and subsequent CDs have no catalogue number. Issue 3 from March 2002 (also without the JUZ catalogue number) titled "eJay presents" included a series of software demos for computer and DJing software from the music production package eJay, as well as 5 "white label" audio tracks from unsigned acts.
