British label of library music 1957-1966. Mono 45rpm 7" releases offered to and intended for radio stations and production studios for radio plays. These were not available for the general public and many were marked as "factory sample". There were 11 series based on themes. Q1 - Ceremonial Heroic (7) Q2 - Comedy Cartoon (13) Q3 - Detective Suspense (12) Q4 - Mechanical Industrial (26) Q5 - Romantic Dramatic (28) Q6 - People Places (35) Q7 - Section Sinister (5) Q8 - Section Marches (11) Q9 - Fashion Glamour (11) Q10 - Bright Gay (20) Q11 - Specialised Music ( 25) The music was composed and arranged by: [a=Philip Green] (tracks with publisher key "GR", release dates 1957 & 1966). [a=Philip Green], [a=William Loose] and [a=Emil Cadkin] ("PH", 1963 & 1964) uncredited. [a=Philip Green], [a=Geoff Love] and [a=Ken Thorne] ("PE", 1964) uncredited. Following Q12 and Q13 series were released on [l=Photoplay Q Music Library] in 1972.
