UK sub-label of Cube Records Ltd., established in 1976 by independent music publisher [a437678]. Electric Records label manager was Jeremy Thomas, who wrote a book about his time with the label & Platz - though using pseudonyms! - which was published in 2006 title 'Taking Leave'. Launching with Marsha Hunt, her Electric album remains unreleased after poor sales for her singles. Chart success came shortly after with Gordon Giltrap & Quantum Jump. In 1979 Electric Records was incorporated into Cube Records / Fly Records set up & is currently owned by [a2494393] Labelcode: LC 4541
