Label founded in 2000 in Boise, Idaho by Levi Ethan Cecil for his band Clock. Emeritus released a compilation in 2000 called "Boise, Idaho" which featured cover art of the same name by filmmaker David Lynch. Emeritus went on to release music by Cecil, and the Portland, Oregon bands Brothers Young and Heroes & Villains. It is currently releasing music by Cecil's new project Gainsayer.
