Warner Bros. sub-label for Frank Zappa's albums between 1973 and 1979, co-owned by [a=Herb Cohen] and [a=Frank Zappa]. (From May 1976 the FZ / Cohen partnership ceased: Reissues of [l57757] or [l51954] releases continued under the DiscReet label - although some legacy sleeve art of either label may remain, or be 'adjusted') Various ongoing confrontations with Warner resulted in closure of DiscReet in 1979 and FZ gaining greater 'in-house control', with his labels [l=Zappa Records] (Founded 1977) & [l=Barking Pumpkin Records] (Revitalized in 1981).
