Founded by [a=Eddie Heller] in 1947. Located at 767 Tenth Avenue in New York City, a label so small it shared space with a Hell's Kitchen storefront known as Sonny's Deli. Eddie acted as President of Rainbow Records and his brother Bob acted as Promotion Manger. Rainbow recorded many now-famous Latin and doo-wop groups. 45 RPM Catalog Number, Date and Label Identification: 100 through 250 (1950–1954): Blue label. 251 and higher (1954 forward): Yellow label.
