When it comes to hard dancefloor - oriented Drum & Bass music, there are only a few imprints that dedicate theirselves to constant quality in terms of music and visuals. ‘’Forbidden Society Recordings’’ , which is (naturally) run by Czech producer and well established DJ, ''Forbidden Society’’ is definitely not to be left out. Established in early 2010 the label has since, released a string of high quality releases by a select group of Top-Notch producers. Names like Current Value, Dub Elements, Future Signal and Katharsys, all have had multiple outputs on the Czech label. The imprint's head Honcho ''Forbidden Society’’ has topped this off with his own productions from the beginning, which resulted in a certain exclusivity for his sought after high energy productions. At the artwork side of things, FS has maintained a strong visual identity for the label which a recognizable in-house style which clearly takes a lot of effort. According to the label owner, the Ethos of the label has always been to push hard Drum n Bass music without neglecting the dancefloors, something he looking to bring to an even higher level in the times coming. All and all Forbidden Society Recordings is a strong DIY-mentality label with with 360 vision, focussing not only on releasing heavy hitting Drum n Bass music but also on frequent international Label Nights which serve as the imprint's very own display window. Hightlights in the series of labelnights include shindings in cities like Tokyo, Prague and Portugese harbour city, Porto. Last but not least, the Label has hold a residency in the legendary 'Cross Club', Prague for 13 editions. While label owner ‘’Forbidden Society’’ is busy touring the world, more label nights and FSRECS linked events will be planned for the times coming. The future for the label promises to be even more busy than the past and present.
