Capital Techno Recordings (est.2010) is an international Techno record label based in Austin, Texas, US. Owned and operated by primary founder Rex Bruton in 2010 to establish a platform to promote and collaborate with international techno artists with like minded purposes. The primary style of majority of releases is focused on Hardgroove sub genre of Techno made popular in the early 2000’s ranging from hard techno to tech house styles. Rex developed the label to publish his own productions alongside similar artists from across the globe. At the time, Techno was still a niche genre in the Underground phase of electronic music. The genre was largely unknown in the USA and except in the metro areas where the sound originated.
