Profile

Sound postcard - a variety of a gramophone record produced in Poland and the countries of the socialist bloc from the beginning of the 1960s to the beginning of the 1980s . The name comes from the base - a standard postcard with a completely neutral content, which was a mechanical base ( carrier ). A thin layer of plastic was laminated on the postcard , with grooves embossed with analog sound recordings, and a hole was made in the center, allowing it to be placed on the turntable . They were played at a speed of 45 rpm.
