Croatia Records

Profile

Croatian label, successor of [l=Jugoton], established on October 1, 1991. Service pressing catalog numbers As the successor of Jugoton, Croatia Records continued to offer service pressings to other labels (mostly [l=Suzy] and [l=HRT Orfej]) and publishers until the very end of 1994, when it shut down the vinyl record production, sold out all necessary machinery and equipment, and focused on the CD format. The format of these pressing numbers was U ##### E (EPs), U ##### L (LPs), U ##### S (singles) and U ##### C (cassettes). These are found in the matrix and on center labels, often backed with text "Proizveo Croatia Records, Zagreb", "Proizvodnja: Croatia Records", "Pressed in Croatia Records", or "Proizvedeno: HNZS Croatia Records". The pressing numbers for CDs in the subsequent years had the format UCD #######.
