Australian label, active in the mid 1990s, mainly dealing with compilations. Legal proceedings were filed on 15 December 1999 by [l181091], [l267877], [l33595] & [l237142] against CEL Music and [l9486], who were alleged to have engaged in the unauthorised making of records which infringe the copyright of the respective record companies by reason that they have reproduced the whole or a substantial part of certain sound recordings. A Receiver and Manager was appointed to CEL Music on 29 March 2000, and an official liquidator was appointed on 28 September 2000.
