Casa Productions was founded by Romanian hip hop pioneers [a=B.U.G. Mafia] in 2001 to serve as a path for developing new artists as well as give the group complete creative control over their work. The label was home for Romanian hip hop heavyweights such as [a=M&G], [a=Mahsat] and [a=XXL & 10 Grei]. Until 2010 the label operated as a subsidiary of Cat Music, the Romanian branch of Sony Records.
