A label originally founded in 1998, by Christopher Collings, Andreas Høyer, Anders Dybvik and Martin O. Muren. In 2001 John Sørensen teamed up, and Collings and Høyer as the primus motors worked closely together with him making a receipt for future success. Tribe Records was for a couple of years Norway's most successful label in putting singles to the sales-chart. Breaking all records in 2002 with a total of 28,9% of the norwegian hit-share on VG-Lista, Norway's official sales-chart. Tribe Records ended it days in 2003, with Collings, Høyer and Dybvik as the last participants.
