Also appears as "D.L.V." or "D.L.V. Discos Larga Vida". Mexican label and record company from Monterrey that focused mainly on norteña music, founded in the early 1960s by [a4674377]. Acquired by local subsidiary of British multinational, [l=EMI Music Mexico, S.A. De C.V.] in 1995. In the early years of its creation, Discos DLV took an almost identical design of the famous Tejano label, [l126797], on their 7" records as well as on their LP's. Example: [r10386242]. Before Discos DLV and [l=DLV Musart] manufactured their own records, [l=Discos Rex] were the ones who manufactured them. See also [l=DLV Musart].
