Blue Elephant

Profile

One of the four "Elephant" labels set up by Dureco. Blue Elephant was specialized in "black music", mainly reggae and West Indies music. ([l20131] for releasing western orientated pop and rock music, [l293817] for "white jazz" and [l670927] for "black jazz".) In the late seventies Dureco quit with the "Elephant" labels. Around 1980 all those releases were released on [l61970].
