A&M/Octone Records was a New York-based record label, which operated through the [l=Universal Music Group]. The label represents a merger of Universal Music's [l=A&M Records] label with [l=Octone]. Headquartered in New York City, A&M/Octone Records was home to Maroon 5, Flyleaf and Hollywood Undead. In 2013, it was announced that Interscope Geffen A&M would fully acquire the A&M Octone label, which was completed in mid-2014, all of its artists were transferred to Interscope/Geffen's roster, including most notably Maroon 5.
