British weekly music newspaper published between 1954 and 1991. In the mid 1970s it incorporated the magazine [l=Popswop Magazine] and used a combined logo for a few years. In it's later years the magazine was respected for its coverage of dance music. During the 1980s and up to its closure in 1991 it issued numerous 7" EPs with rare and exclusive tracks, many by electronic artists.
