truehiphop.com (pka ATAK and ATAK Worldwide) is an online underground hip hop store that began operations in San Francisco in 1996, owned and operated by Paul Gembus (aka P-Minus). truehiphop has re-issued many underground releases, most of which were initially (and often, only) released on cassette. These are releases in the "ATAK's Dusty Tapes" series, which was first jokingly titled the "ATAK Bootleg Series" but was changed to avoid the likely confusion about the legitimacy of the releases. The "PGM" in the catalog numbers refers to "Pretty Good Music."
