Text und Ton was the successor of the German music magazine Bodystyler. There were only a few issues published under that name until it disappeared. The magazine covered all independent music styles but due to its focus in the past it was more or less concentrated on Electro, EBM and Industrial. Each issue was accompanied by a compilation which featured artists interviewed in the magazine.
