River Monster Records was created by Larry Parker and Toni Dellaposta in April of 2018 in Dalzell, South Carolina. The idea behind the label is to help local and independent bands release their material to the public. Their first release was in August, 2018. It was a split 7" by Charleston, South Carolina's Hale Bopp Astronauts and Columbia, South Carolina's Soda City Riot.
