An independent record label established to release the music created in Sentir Studio. Sentir Studio was opened late 2014 by musician, producer and DJ, Murray Lake. Based in Sydney, the studio features a collection of instruments, microphones, synthesizers, drum machines, and other vintage outboard equipment dating back to the 60’s. Mid 2017, Murray founded Sentir Sound, an independent record label established to release the music created in Sentir Studio. ‘Is This Goodbye Feat. Jamie Lidell’ is Murray’s, and the labels formidable first release. Released December 8, 2017, Clash Magazine called it “Entrancing future-soul” and “sheer disco heaven”. Late 2018, the first label compilation, ‘Murray Lake Presents SENTIR Vol. 01’ was released. An album featuring 11 different artists, spanning solo piano, psychedelic soul, electronica, funk and jazz. SENTIR Vol. 01 was recorded, produced and mixed by Murray at Sentir Studio.
