This label started life as an independent, owned by [a=Bunny Jones] out of New York City, and appears to have had only one release. The Valentino release was picked up for pressing and distribution by Motown Record Corp., in 1975, after [a=Berry Gordy] expressed interest in the single. Due to Motown Record Corp., overseas licensing affiliation with E.M.I. Records Ltd., and their Tamla-Motown imprint, the record was also released in U.K., but kept the same logo design as the U.S. issued single. Motown Record Corp., subsequently issued the single on their Motown imprint in 1977, with [a=Carl Bean] performing on vocals.
