Record label formed in 2018 with the aim of supporting independent/DIY music from Sheffield and South Yorkshire/North Derbyshire Releases on the label are either regular pressings (credited to the appropriate manufacturer), or in-house lathe-cuts (credited to Do It Thissen Lathe-cuts). Lathe-cuts are usually unmarked in terms of catalogue number in the 'dead wax' area of the cut . However, each cut carries a unique etched inventory number of the form #9999, which is used to identify the date cut, and lathe settings used, in case of customer enquiry. This appears on releases on the Do It Thissen Records label, and also on releases on other labels for which Do It Thissen Lathe-cuts was the manufacturer
