Danish label for mainly schlager and 'dansktop' music, initially on cassettes and vinyl, and later on CDs. Also a manufacturer of cassettes, CD's, DVD's and Blu-Ray discs primarily for the Scandinavian market. Founded in 1976 by Erik Nielsen, and since 1983 Tewa has been run by his son Jan Nielsen. The name Tewa comes from the band [a=Tewana], which was the company's first release. Also ran the [l571271] in the 80's.
