Pure Groove

Pure Groove was a record shop/gallery space in London. It began as a market stall in Camden in 1989, before quickly moving to a bricks and mortar home in Archway in North East London. It then moved to Smithfield Market in 2008. From the store stemmed a publishing company, also called Pure Groove or [l280323], then renamed [l383192], handling the catalogues of [a17502], [a114350] or [a489089], and associated record labels, such as the eponymous Pure Groove, [l114319], [l135859], [l54919]. The Smithfield Market location was closed in July 2010, Pure Groove maintained a webstore service until September 2011.
