Earjerk Records

Profile

Earjerk Records was founded by Tony Ennis in 2005 with help from Second Family Band and is dedicated to releasing quality works of an abstract nature. Often tagged as a 'Noise' label, fans know Earjerk as a Madison, Wisconsin label, home to a number of local weirdos like the Second Family Band, Troy Schafer and db Pedersen, drone outfits like Drunjus and Spiral Joy Band and scuzzo-acoustic field recordings from the likes of Pan to Scratch. Of late, Earjerk has embraced weirdos from around the world with releases by Datashock, fellow dirt wallower Xiphiidae and epic guitarscapes by wonders like Annapurna lllusion and Andy Futreal.
