American record label from Hollywood, California, established in 1979, by twin brothers Estus and Lester Patterson. They left the gospel group the Southern Sons to form a duo known as the Soul Twins. Their first recording was for Big Beat. They changed the name to the [a128350] and joined Star Fox Enterprises with 2 singles released on the King Label. Later they did a one-off at Malaco cut at Muscle Shoals. KonKord's first release was distributed by Montage. [a1459277] eventually took complete control of the company and released product on artists like Finis Tasby, Sterling Harrison, Bishop Hudson & Rusty Jackson.
