The name for the label was inspired by a bottle of very hot sauce! Inferno grew to become one of the top 3 independent dance labels in the UK between 1997 and 2004 releasing genres ranging from trance to UK garage. The first 18 releases produced eleven Top 40 hits with six going Top 20. Backed and distributed by 3MV/TEN, MD'd by Steve Long, A&R'd by Pat Travers and co-ordinated by Emma French.
