When talking about Codiscos salsa, it is inevitable to refer to the golden era of Grupo Niche, Juan Manuel Lebron and of course Grupo Galé. However, it was precisely with the initiative and experience of the renowned director, producer and percussionist Diego Galé, that the salsa division of the company was established in 2004. Since then, a constellation of stars have believed in the trajectory of a company as traditional as Codiscos and with the help of Galé, they have managed to position the SALSA POWER label as one of the most prominent of this genre at a national and international level. Great artists and groups such as Tito Gómez, Richie Ray and Bobby Cruz, Maelo Ruiz, David Pabón, Pedro Arroyo, Willie González, Grupo Galé, Quinto Mayor, King Bongó, El Gran Combo de Puerto Rico, El Conjunto Clásico, Ismael Miranda, for To mention a few, they have recorded successful productions. The SALSA POWER label has achieved such important recognitions as Grammys, Gold and Platinum Records, Golden Congos, among others; and has managed to be in the most important salsa festivals in the world.
