USA Actually appears as "An APT Record" or "APT" only. Consider adding [l=ABC Records] as 2nd label if it also appears on the release. Apt Records was an [l=ABC-Paramount] subsidiary label used exclusively for singles launched in 1958. In the first eight years of the label's twelve-year run (1958-66), nearly 100 singles were released. After a 3 year hiatus, the label was revived in 1969 by [l=ABC Records] who used the imprint to release an additional 14 singles and one known LP before closing down the label for good in 1972.
