Memphis, Tennessee-based industrial / experimental / electronic label run by [a=Chris Phinney] between 1982 and 2006. Chris revived the label in 2011 and it has been active ever since. It produced about 350 releases during its original incarnation, including numerous compilations as well as material by the likes of [a=Big City Orchestra], [a=Violence And The Sacred], [a=Viktimized Karcass] and [a=Nomuzic]. Since being revived, nearly everything from the Harsh Reality Music archives is available in digital format and all new releases come out as such.
