Established in the year 2000, [b]Sheer House[/b] was an imprint label of [l=Sheer Music] that concentrated primarily on kwaito and local artists. Its mandate was "to address the need to diversify the South African music industry by discovering, exposing and nurturing youthful new local talent." As of 2009 it is known as [b]Shelter House[/b].
