Icelandic re-issue label, named after a record [url=http://www.discogs.com/label/%C3%8Dslenzkir+T%C3%B3nar]label[/url] active in the 1950's, the rights to that label were bought in 1974 by [url=http://www.discogs.com/label/SG-Hlj%C3%B3mpl%C3%B6tur]SG Hljómplötur[/url], who in turn were bought by Steinar in the 1980's. Steinar resurrected the label to use for re-issues of older material in the late 1980's, and this practice was continued after [l=Steinar] was sold to [l=Skífan] in the 1990's.
