Austin, Texas-based indie record label launched in 1992 by [a=Jeff Cole (11)]. By 1998, the label signed a distribution deal through Slipdisc, which got Doolittle access to a distribution deal with Mercury Records through Independent Label Sales, the indie arm of Polygram Group Distribution. Owner Jeff Cole left the label in early 2000 ahead of a merger with [l=New West Records] finalized on March 31, 2000.
