A Bloomfield, New Jersey-based division of [l=Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer] that exclusively pressed vinyl format releases for [l=MGM Records] and its subsidiary labels from March of 1947 until 1971 (after 1971, MGM outsourced much of its East Coast pressings to [l=Keel Mfg. Corp.]). It operated in conjunction with [l=MGM Custom Pressing Division], which offered recording, mastering, stereo, shipment, and pressing services to other clients. - For all non-[l=MGM Records] releases pressed at the Bloomfield plant, please see [l=MGM Custom Pressing Division]. - For its sister company, please see [l=MGM Records Division].
