Mixed Masters

The Columbia Mixed Masters series consisted of 12" and CD single releases of classic disco and club tracks, including many mixes which had never been released commercially before. The first series of releases were issued between October 1987 and September 1989, and was limited to recordings which made the Top 5 on the Billboard pop, black, or dance charts. Columbia resurrected the series on 12" vinyl in the late 90s with different cover art.
