Dutch record label founded by [a=John J. Vis], former executive of the Dutch branch of [a=CBS Records], and [a=Otto Vriezenberg]. The label was aimed at the niche market for recordings in the music theatre, cabaret and singer/songwriter fields, often in historical contexts. The label's name ("Nickel Nelis") referred to a song by cabaret artist [a=Wim Sonneveld] about a one-man street performer.
