Spanish record company established on June 27th, 1953 by [a=José Manuel Vidal Zapater]. This is a company, do not use as label; For label use : [l13104] Licensee of [a=Columbia Records] to distribute North & South America Columbia product in Spain. It owned the [l13104] label and distributed in Spain many pop & jazz foreign labels ([l25693], [l=Asylum Records], [l=CTI Records], [l=Elektra], [l26557], [l=Reprise Records], [l1058], [l8708], [l1000]...). They also worked as a manufacturer, pressing releases for labels like [l=Belter]. [b]Impuesto de lujo Permiso Nº 3637[/b]. It had its own recording studios ([l352153]), pressing plant, offices and cassette duplication operating at Torrelaguna, 102, a printing plant ([l1523529], at Marcenado, 22 - Madrid), later renamed [l=Dirograf, S.A.], and a publishing section ([l406710]). The company and label were acquired by EMI in 1985, later by Parlophone and last one Warner Music Group. Some relevant executives before EMI acquisition: José Manuel Vidal Zapater (1953-1977), Luis Vidal Zapater, [a679156] from 1977 to 1984, Saul Tagarro 1984, Miguel Blasco, Jesús López, Javier del Moral and finally [a6141173] to close the acquisition.
