After having been closed between 2007 and 2014 due to massive reconstruction in that part of the city of Utrecht, and following a merger between [l388719] and [l496445], it was re-opened in July 2014 under the new name TivoliVredenburg. The original main concert hall of [l388719] was retained and a new venue built around it.
