FDH Records

Profile

FDH records activities started in the late 1990's as tape label called "Illmattic Jerk Records" doing a handful of DIY cassettes from around the Hudson Valley NY area. Released Febuary 2003, "True Horror", a four-way split LP with local punk bands, was the labels first release. Catering to the Hudson Valley's Noise scene (2003-2006) a series of DIY cassettes and CDr's were mostly given away at local shows. Striving to put out more vinyl, and getting more involved with garage punk and synth bands, the label relocated to Philadelphia in 2006. In 2012 the label also formed a sub division named "Suicide Bong" focusing on cassette releases of Philadelphia PA based bands. FDH officially ceased operations in March 2023.
