Founded in 1990 in Downer's Grove, IL., by [a1439234]. In 1991, Ray handed control over to [a=Scott Broadhurst] of the band [a=Friction (8)]. Scott ran the label until he moved to San Francisco, CA, in 1994, after which the label ceased operations. In December 2009, Ray announced on Shakefork's Facebook page that the label would be resurrected under the guidance of [a=Neil Sandler] of the band [a=Gauge (3)] who currently plays in [a=Rollo Tomasi].
