BBC Transcription is the world's largest distributor of radio programmes and offers broadcasters worldwide the chance to share its unrivalled catalogue with their listeners. The programmes are designed to suit an international audience and with 350 hours of new material issued each year, BBC Transcription has amassed a collection of more than 8,000 hours of fine radio, including many unique and historic recordings. Music is offered from world renowned festivals, including Aldeburgh, Cheltenham, Edinburgh and the Henry Wood Promenade Concerts. We record the latest big names in Rock and Pop at many famous venues, as well as providing an impressive archive of vintage Rock performances and interviews. International stars from the world of Jazz, Folk and Easy listening complete our wide-ranging music catalogue. There's a stunning collection of Drama, Comedy and Light Entertainment, Children's programmes and Religion. All BBC Transcription programmes are issued on Compact Disc, ensuring original studio quality, although if needed, analogue or digital tape copies can be supplied. Specially recorded Sound Effects are also available on Compact Disc. PDF's listing radio programmes distributed on CD can be found on the BBC Radio International web site.
