Series introduced in July 1990 by [l26126], consisting of digitally remastered recordings by [a846301]. The series was released to coincide with the 1st July nationwide screening of a television play about the conductor, titled [i]Beecham[/i]. Some of the recordings were orignally made for [l1866], and so were liscensed from [l3072].
