San Francisco's first hardcore label, the U.S.'s first industrial label. Founded by [a=Michael Fox] and [a=Steven Tupper] in August 1979. Subterranean Records also functions as a distributor. The [l=Subterranean Studios] is associated to Subterranean Records Catalog numbers SUB 57 and SUB 71 (vinyl version) were never released.
