1960s-1970s R&B and soul label from New Orleans, Louisiana. Watch Records or Watch Record Co., New Orleans, was a combination of the energies of Earl King and Wardell Quezergue. Some releases were regional hits that were later covered by other artists, and others have through time become a part of the New Orleans lexicon. The label roster included Professor Longhair, "Tan Canary" Johnny Adams, but most are not known outside of New Orleans, though they deserve much wider recognition. People such as Leona Buckles, Tommy Ridgley, Dell Stewart, Crescents & The McMillian Sisters. Label was picked up for distribution by London Records for the last five releases (45-1900 through 45-1904).
