Cuban cellist, pianist, composer and bandleader, born August 29, 1908 in La Habana and died January 16, 1991 in La Havana. nicknamed Macho Brother of [a1504289] and [a3455859] Father of [a364202] Very prolific in Danzon and Mambo (which he's said to have created with his brother) style, he also played classical music, and was one of the creators of the Orquesta Sinfónica Nacional De Cuba.
