Georg Böhm

German organist and composer of the Baroque Era (born 02 September 1661 in Hohenkirchen (Thüringen), died 18 May 1733 in Lüneburg). He had an academic education at the Jena university (±1684). Starting from 1690, he worked in Hamburg, from 1698 he was organist at the Johanneskirche in Lüneburg until he died in 1733.
