OUTRAGE was a German pupils punk band formed in 1980 by the brothers [a=Gerald Manns] (voc, bass) and [a=Roland Manns] (dr) as well as [a=Hans-Jörg Lauffer] (gtr). Older brother Thomas Manns helped out on the guitar, but did not become an official member. In 1981 [a=Hanno Rüther] (bass) joined the band, Gerald switched to the guitar, which made Hans-Jörg redundant. When one of their songs appeared on an E.P. sampler in 1982, they had already changed their name to [a=Die Zinnförster].
